Using just one Access ID and password, your plan members can enjoy easy access to both their benefit and retirement plans via one convenient entry point. This can include one single toll-free telephone number.
Additional Services Capabilities
Additional Services Capabilities are available in two forms:
- Additional Services Integration provides a direct connection via a link to third-party provided services from the Personal Portfolio Homepage on our Plan Member Services website. When the plan member clicks on one of these links, he or she is passed through directly to the secure plan member service offered by the third-party provider without having to enter a new access ID and password. This capability would be the result of a collaborative project undertaken by Sun Life Financial and the third-party provider.
- Additional Services Links offer a URL link to third-party provided services from the Personal Portfolio Homepage on our Plan Member Services website. When the plan member clicks on one of these URL links, he or she is passed through directly to the service offered by the third-party provider. If it is a secure website, the plan member must re-authenticate.
Single Sign-On
Single Sign-On provides plan members a direct link from their employee portal to Sun Life Financial’s Plan Member Services website. Clicking on the link takes the member directly to his or her Personal Portfolio Home Page, without having to enter their Sun Life Financial access ID or password. Gone is the frustration associated with searching for multiple access IDs and passwords - plan members can enjoy quick and easy access to potentially all of their plans directly from their employee portal.
Employer Branding Innovations
Employer Branding Innovations enhance the value of our Plan Member Services website by incorporating key design elements of your online style guide or HR program. Together or individually, they can connect your employee portal with Sun Life Financial’s Plan Member Services website. Or, they can turn our site into your benefits and pension portal. Plan members will enjoy an improved, more familiar online experience and they will better appreciate your investment in plan sponsorship.
- The Customized Sign-In Screen redesigns the traditional plan member sign-in page with your logo, colours and fonts to clearly communicate your investment in plan sponsorship.
- The Logo service positions your logo and graphics – alone or beside Sun Life Financial’s – in the top horizontal bar of all Plan Member Services website pages following the sign-in page.
- The Palette service brings key elements of your online style guide to life throughout our Plan Member Services website by applying your colours, fonts and button and box styles.
