As part of our commitment to workplace mental health, Sun Life is pleased to announce that it is a Lead Research Sponsor of the Conference Board of Canada's new research initiative called Healthy Brains in the Workplace.  Sun Life is proud to be a part of this important initiative.

While most individuals agree that the promotion of mental health in the workplace is an important topic in need of attention, employers are still experiencing difficulty implementing successful programs to help provide a psychologically healthy and safe work environment for employees.

Presented through several reports in 2015, Healthy Brains in the Workplace will seek to better understand the employer’s role in addressing mental health by examining the position, effectiveness and potential impact of employer-sponsored mental health benefits and programs, particularly as they relate to depression.

The reports will be released by the Conference Board  throughout the year to help identify the challenges and opportunities surrounding mental health promotion and support in the workplace.
