 At what age does my coverage terminate?

For you and your spouse, if applicable, coverage reduces by 50% at the policy anniversary following age 65 and terminates at the policy anniversary following age 70.

 When am I eligible for the living benefit loan?

You are eligible for the living benefit loan if you are terminally ill and expected to die within 12 months.  Upon qualification, and with the consent of any beneficiaries, you can request an amount to be advanced, up to a maximum of 50% of the amount of insurance in-force not to exceed $50,000.

 Am I able to purchase Term Life Insurance protection for my spouse and child(ren)?

You can purchase Term Life Insurance for your spouse. Subject to satisfactory statement of health, coverage is available from a minimum of $50,000 to a maximum of $1,000,000, in increments of $25,000.

You are not able to purchase Term Life Insurance coverage for your dependent child(ren).

 Am I able to assign a beneficiary for my Term Life Insurance coverage?

When completing your application, your estate is automatically assigned as your beneficiary.  Once you receive your SunAffinity welcome package, you are then able to assign a beneficiary of your choice by completing and returning a change of beneficiary form.

 When is the death benefit paid out?

The death benefit is paid out to your beneficiaries upon approval of the death claim.
