Updates made to Plan Member Services for My CHOICE Plans

It’s important that you let your plan members know of their right to apply for life insurance conversion when they’re leaving your employee group plan. We want to make it easy for you, so on February 7, we’re adding My CHOICE Plans messaging to the password protected Plan Member Services website. The new content will let your exiting plan members know about the transition solutions available to them as they leave your employee group plan.

What information will be added on February 7?

  • A My CHOICE Plans page that includes information on the available My CHOICE Plans coverage options and the simple enrolment process

  • A “Leaving the plan” link in the “my health and well being” section of the home page that leads to the My CHOICE Plans page

  • A link in the “Take me to” side navigation box that leads to the My CHOICE Plans page

  • FAQs about the My CHOICE Plans coverage options and the enrolment process


Why are we making these changes?

We want your members to have the best possible benefits experience when exiting your employee group plan. By adding My CHOICE Plans information to our Plan Member Services website, your exiting plan members will have access to simple transition solutions to meet their life, health and wealth needs. At the same time, your members can find out just how easy it is to maintain their group coverage with Sun Life Financial – and that one phone call to our Customer Solutions Centre may be all it takes.
