October is Healthy Workplace Month and Sun Life is actively involved in many initiatives and activities to help support workplace wellness.

HealthyRETURNS is Sun Life’s health and wellness program offering a unique suite of over 30 health and wellness products.

The month kicked off with Lori Casselman, AVP Health and Productivity Solutions, offering her expert opinion in a feature article in the Globe and Mail’s Healthy Workplace Month supplement - Closing the Gap between workplace wellness and improved employee health.

HealthyRETURNS continues to be in the industry and public eye with the publication of two new ads this month in the Globe & Mail and Benefits Canada.

Erin Dick, Manager, Health and Productivity Solutions, presented a session at the Health, Work and Wellness Conference in Vancouver last month. She ran her session with Jennifer Hubbard, Manager, Human Resource Services at The Economical Insurance Group (TEIG) and featured a video showing TEIG employees talking about the positive experiences they’ve had with their HealthyRETURNS programs.

Erin is also the author of an article published in the September Issue of Canadian HR Reporter – “How technology is impacting workplace wellness.”

Sun Life Financial is pleased to be a category sponsor at the Benefits Canada Who’s Who in Workplace Wellness awards. We congratulate all the winners who will be announced on October 15, 2010.
