Sun Life’s health and wellness team is excited to wrap up a busy summer and share with you a number of initiatives that are currently underway or on the horizon as we head in to Healthy Workplace Month in October.

On September 9, 2011 Lori Casselman, AVP, Health and Productivity Solutions was quoted in an article along with Dr. Michael Rouse, Principal Investigator of a research agreement between Sun Life and the Richard Ivey School of Business, in a special Globe and Mail health, work and wellness supplement. The supplement also featured our wellness advantage advertisement.

Lori Casselman was also recently interviewed by Benefits Canada TV on the wellness shift in the workplace and findings from the Sun Life Canadian Health IndexTM.

Additionally, Sun Life’s wellness advantage ad appeared in the July/August 2011 issue of Benefits Canada, marking and demonstrating an even stronger commitment to employee health and wellness following the recent acquisition of Buffett & Company.

And, there’s lots more coming up!

October is Canada’s Healthy Workplace Month, and Sun Life will maintain an active presence throughout many high-profile wellness events taking place during this period.
