Legislative change

Drug claims for Quebec plan members

Increase in annual out-of-pocket maximum to $963 from  $954

  • Drug claims from Quebec plan members will now be subject to the new out-of-pocket maximum of $963

Co-insurance (amount RAMQ pays) remains the same at 68%

  • No change - drug claims continue to be paid at 68%

We’re in the process of updating our systems to reflect this change. There will be no immediate rate adjustments due to the changes and we expect minimal impact on claim experience.
