In 2011, Sun Life changed the game with the launch of our industry-leading my Sun Life Mobile App. Today we are at it again as we take a step ahead with the release of my Sun Life Mobile App 2.0 – ensuring a bright future for our mobile plan member experience with this latest update! 

A step ahead

With more than 200,000 downloads and 275,000 mobile claims my Sun Life Mobile App  has become an easy and convenient way for Sun Life group plan members to connect to their group benefits and group retirement plans on the go. Sun Life has listened to feedback from users like you and has responded with a commitment to keeping the evolution of the mobile app going with my Sun Life Mobile App version 2.0.

With even more functionality, the latest version of our mobile app has powerful new tools that can take you and your benefits just about anywhere. Check out the app’s most recent additions:

  • Enhanced health benefit coverage information, including deductibles, maximums, eligibility and more.
  • Your health spending and personal spending account details, including remaining balances.
  • Enhanced vision coverage information

“We’re listening to what customers and users are telling us and we are evolving the app based on their feedback,” said Louise Jardine, Director, Product Technology, Group Benefits. “Being able to offer plan members expanded mobile options based on their own suggestions is all part of how we are enhancing the customer experience.” With features like these, Sun Life’s Group Benefits continues to work very hard to ensure plan members have all the information they need, when they need it – on the go!

Sun Life’s gets “The Conversation” started on mobile apps

Recently, the Sun Life Group Benefits Marketing team connected with Amber MacArthur, Canadian tech-guru and co-host of BNN’s app central. “We’re thrilled to see that when experts in this field talk about innovative apps and the future, Sun Life’s mobile app is front and center”, said Gary Laughlin, Director, Marketing and Communications, Group Benefits.
