Your plan members told us that they wanted better claims experiences. Sun Life responded to their request for improved processes on our email claims notification alerts.

What’s new

In last November’s update, we promised more enhancements in 2013. So now our claim notification email templates have links to tools and resources to help your plan members further their awareness of the benefits of being online. Plan members can access e-tutorials  that highlight all of our online features to members – like direct deposit and paperless claim statements – and give them clear instructions on how to sign up for mysunlife.ca, if they haven’t already.

Another change they’ll notice is that the email notifications will now have a more friendly approach and Sun Life branding. The use of plain language and consistent messaging was an important aspect in our development of these enhancements. Here’s an example of a new notification template.
