We are giving mysunlife.ca a brand new look and feel on December 16. The redesign will enrich plan members’ online experience, increase their awareness and understanding of the value of their group plan, plus help them understand how to use their plan more effectively. It will also provide education and more resources to help them manage their overall well-being. Note: The secure area of my Sun Life is not changing.

What’s new?

  • Updated navigation to help plan members easily find content relevant to them and to navigate online self-serve options (i.e., register for my Sun Life, e-claims, direct deposit and my Sun Life Mobile).
  • Fun and engaging content, mostly using Brighter Life articles, plus helpful tools and resources like calculators and tutorials.
  • Interactive elements such as rating and polling, to surface popular content (e.g., top rated, most viewed).
  • We are also developing a customized view of my Sun Life for Choices plan members, where they will be provided with information and resources relevant to their Choices plans. They will be able to move between the Choices view and the Plan Member view from the mysunlife.ca homepage.

 

Group benefits content can be found mainly under the new ‘Plans and coverage’ section (below ‘Coverage and claims’), with additional information in the ‘Wellness’ and ‘Resources and support’ sections.

Plan member feedback from usability testing on these enhancements was positive, especially about the new design, the way content is provided in a relevant way, the added Brighter Life articles, and more. Please share the attached communication with your plan members to let them know about the changes.

Sun Life is committed to customer focus and to enhancing the customer experience. This is one of many initiatives currently underway to enhance the online plan member experience.
