Core investment platform update: Three new funds from Sun Life Global Investments
June 15, 2015
Plan sponsors may wish to consider whether this investment news has any implications for the investment options available within their plans. Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada purchases units of the funds listed below, which are established as segregated funds in accordance with the Insurance Companies Act (Canada).
We are pleased to announce that in April of this year we added three new funds to our Core investment platform. The addition of the below three funds deepens our offering in specialty equity (e.g. global mid-cap, listed infrastructure and Canadian small cap), and expands the investment options available to Defined Contribution (DC) plan sponsors and their plan members. The funds are managed by Sun Life Global Investments and are sub-advised by Sionna (Canadian small cap) and Sentry (global mid-cap, listed infrastructure).
The following three segregated funds are now available:
- Sun Life Sionna Canadian Small Cap
- Sun Life Sentry Global Mid Cap
- Sun Life Sentry Listed Infrastructure
