Organizational changes at Jarislowsky Fraser Limited

Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada purchases units of the funds listed below which are established as segregated funds in accordance with the Insurance Companies Act (Canada).
In February 2012, Jarislowsky Fraser Limited (JF) announced the resignation of Sami Hazboun, senior associate, after three years at the firm. Mr. Hazboun was co-lead portfolio manager of the Jarislowsky Fraser U.S. Equity Fund. He was also a member of the firm's Investment Strategy Committee.
Charlie Ongking will continue as lead manager of the Jarislowsky Fraser U.S. Equity Fund. Mr. Ongking has been with the firm for over 10 years and has 14 years of investment experience. He is a partner at JF and has been a member of the Investment Strategy Committee since 2008. Mr. Ongking will also continue as co-lead manager of Global Equities and perform analyses in the health care, consumer staples and technology sectors.
Mr. Hazboun's research coverage of industrials will be distributed among the existing analyst team. At this time, JF has not confirmed whether a replacement co-lead portfolio manager is to be appointed to the Jarislowsky Fraser U.S. Equity Fund.
